This tool adds a visible watermark to your PDF. You can apply a text watermark (like “CONFIDENTIAL”) or an image watermark (like your logo), then download the watermarked PDF.
2. Is my PDF uploaded to your servers?
No. Watermarking happens entirely in your browser, so your PDF stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
3. Can I add both text and image watermarks?
Yes. You can choose a text watermark or switch to the image tab to add a logo/image watermark. You can adjust size, opacity, rotation, and position for either type.
4. What are the file limits?
You can watermark one PDF at a time. The tool supports PDFs up to 50 MB and up to 1000 pages per file.
5. Can I watermark only specific pages?
Yes. You can apply the watermark to all pages, a page range, odd/even pages, or just the first/last page.
6. Can I control placement, opacity, and rotation?
Yes. You can choose a position (corners/edges/center), adjust opacity, change rotation (horizontal/diagonal/vertical), and set text size or image width.
7. Why did watermarking fail?
Watermarking can fail if the file isn’t a valid PDF, is encrypted/password-protected, exceeds the size/page limits, or if the PDF is corrupted. Try re-exporting the PDF, unlocking it first, or using a smaller file.
8. Can someone remove the watermark?
A watermark is a visual layer added to the PDF. It can discourage copying, but a determined user may still edit a PDF with advanced tools. For stronger protection, combine watermarking with access controls and secure sharing workflows.
